As if you already haven't heard the term before. It is true. There is no other time that a human excels more than normal is with a little rivalry. I've got many of my own examples, the majority comes from working out. I would try doing pushups and B.S. myself and act like I couldn't do it. As soon as another kid was next to me, there I went. I don't know how many was done exactly, all I remember is I concentrated well beyond human levels and tapped out the feelings of pain. If he did a pushup, I was right behind him doing another. As soon as he felt stress I felt more power I looked at him devilishly like it was no sweat. When he stopped doing it I made some weird noise, like a grunt from an ogre. That ended up being my workout sound because one, it sounds really beasty and two, its intimidating. People think I'm insane and I feel no pain. I go along with those thoughts and start punching myself like a maniac not hard enough to hurt but enough to scare them. Fortunately for them, they just chicken out. It's fortunate because it saves them a good beating. I like fighting, not because of its violence, but because I like portraying myself as something I'm not. Like Rocky, everyone says my face looks like his so I go and pretend I'm him. The human imagination is really amazing, I mean anything we're see or hear is amazing as well. The intricate patterns of spiderwebs, honeycombs by bees, beavers building their damns, the complex structures that allow fish to breathe underwater. It all has a creator, a great All-knowing being. I don't mind if you don't believe in it as well, do what you want. I'm going to sleep. I will write about the other topics later.
