Cards

I was just reading a forum, this guy's talking about his girlfriend and another user commented with:

"I think she looks like a great woman and would probably do more for you than put out, if you just give it time. She looks like a woman that can be caring, keep a house clean, and cook really well.

I think you should keep holding your cards and wait to see what the river card turns up. You are only out of the game if you fold early."

I liked the cards analogy a lot. I like the way you can relate it to life, it's interesting. It's a little lesson for some, I guess for me as well. My dad says you should learn from your mistakes, and from other people's mistakes. That's what I've been sort of subconciously doing my whole life, and I've never made a really bad mistake and I don't believe I would. Sure I'd make some with something I don't really have experience with, but I learn quickly. I don't know what to do today, read or go out. It's Saturday, what the hell...
