Just another update

"QUOTE (Golden Arrowhead @ Jun 5 2005, 08:09 AM) It would be foolish to think we know the whole truth about anything, we're always learning new things about the universe. That said, I have no doubt at all that the theory of evolution is closer to the truth than creationism. Haven't checked the video yet but I really doubt it would change my opinion. Yeah there's gaps and inconsistencies in our understanding of evolution, but there is a lot of evidence in support of the general concept of evolution, and no evidence at all in support of creationism, unless you consider a simple-minded literalistic reading of a many-times-translated-and-mistranslated religious text to be "evidence"."

Check out the video, it changes lives! I can't stress how much ignorance is dumb, so if you don't already believe in creationism check out the video. It has enough of the facts to tell you, "told ya so!"

"Yeah there's gaps and inconsistencies in our understanding of evolution, but there is a lot of evidence in support of the general concept of evolution, and no evidence at all in support of creationism" Absolutely no evidence in support of creationism? How would he know... God's universe is flawless and VERY complex. I've talked about it before in past posts and I just know sooner or later this ignorance will diminish.

It's interesting to still see how no one considers the Qu'ran, only the Bible is what they're taught: "many-times-translated-and-mistranslated religious text to be "evidence"."" That's the only reason I don't really like the Bible, but some idea's they have are similar to ours so I don't really mind. I cant hate them for it, that would be dumb. Still, it's sad to see that no one knows what our Book talks about.

I've made a list of what I'm going to read this summer, and after that I'll figure out how to write a sort of book. Too big a goal? No, I don't think so. I'll improve my writing and revise my book as much as I can. Don't know what else to say, it's the afternoon and this isn't half as deep as it could be so I'll write again later.

"Absolutely no evidence in support of creationism? How would he know..."

So, present some. Evidence, I mean. You know, in favour of creationism. Just one piece.
