We hold these truths to be self–evident,
That all men are created equal,
That they are endowed by their Creator
with certain unalienable Rights,
That among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men,
Deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
Here's one argument for gay marriage, although I'm not one. It's an unalienable right. Which "right," you ask? If you understand the Bill of Rights and the Ninth Amendment you can say the pursuit of happiness is a right. Banning an action such as gambling, gay marriage, and other kinds of activities some humans enjoy in their "pursuit" of happiness is simply unconstitutional. The document the United States of America uses to define itself from others is the Constitution, not the Bible. Also, honestly, how can two guys you might never see or know affect these people so much? I thought the Bible tried to teach us that we should love people for who they are. Oh well. This post is just a thought.
