Attempts

I just wrote this today, it's only practice and not really the way I feel at all. It's just a little practice I guess on writing creatively, try to interpret it and tell me what you think. Leave a comment too, thanks :o



im in love with a girl, behind the picture of my heart,
who overlooked a diamond in the rough. she'll decide what she wants.

it's been a while since we last met
cant hide in my vast regret

was told i jumped the gun
had no doubt of that in my run

to the steps, desired to impress
had no idea it would be a mess

a barren letter binded between a door and pen
laced with ink and the feeling between women and men

i left it to wait and see, it read:
i love you

sorry i didnt tell you before
i cant keep it in anymore

as weird as this may be
i want to know if,
you want to be with me?

we only knew each other for a few months or so
been sitting here by the phone for a few months in woe

im still here, waiting to see
while i pray it happens to me.

in the end there was no reply
not mad, just let out a sigh because

im in love with a girl, bound by chains against a bleeding wall while memories play in my mind's tv screen, who should have looked a little bit harder. she'll decide what she wants...
