Palestine

To start, this post is about Palestine and its issues. Most of the information used comes from, http://www.harunyahya.com/palestine03.php , which you just need to read. I'll copy the most important parts from there so you don't have to read everything. You should read the Zionism parts of his website I'm only going to talk about the history of Palestine and the Middle East.

"

In short, Muslims brought civilization to Jerusalem and all of Palestine. Instead of holding beliefs that showed no respect for other peoples' sacred values and killing people simply because they followed a different faith, Islam's just, tolerant, and moderate culture brought peace and harmony to the region's Muslim, Christian, and Jewish communities. Muslims never resorted to campaigns of forced conversions, although some non-Muslims who saw that Islam was the true religion did convert of their own free will.

This peace and harmony lasted as long as Muslims ruled in the region. However, at the end of the eleventh century, an external conquering force from Europe entered the region and plundered the civilized land of Jerusalem with a barbarity and savagery that had never been seen there before. These invaders were the Crusaders.

...

(The invasion)
Wonderful sights were to be seen. Some of our men (and this was more merciful) cut off the heads of their enemies; others shot them with arrows, so that they fell from the towers; others tortured them longer by casting them into the flames. Piles of heads, hands and feet were to be seen in the streets of the city. It was necessary to pick one's way over the bodies of men and horses. But these were small matters compared to what happened at the Temple of Solomon, a place where religious services are normally chanted ... in the Temple and porch of Solomon, men rode in blood up to their knees and bridle reins.

In 2 days, the Crusader army killed some 40,000 Muslims in the barbaric manner just described. The peace and harmony in Palestine, which had lasted since Umar, ended in a terrible slaughter.

The Crusaders made Jerusalem their capital and established a Latin Kingdom stretching from Palestine to Antioch. But their rule was short-lived, for Saladin gathered all of the Muslim kingdoms under his banner in a holy war and defeated the Crusaders at the battle of Hattin in 1187. After this battle, the two leaders of the Crusader army, Reynald of Chatillon and King Guy, were brought into Saladin's presence. He executed Reynald of Chatillon, who had become infamous for the terrible savagery he had committed against Muslims, but let King Guy go, as he had not committed similar crimes. Palestine once again saw the true meaning of justice.

Three months after Hattin, and on the very same day that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had been taken from Mecca to Jerusalem for his night journey through the heavens, Saladin entered Jerusalem and freed it from 88 years of Crusader occupation. In contrast to the Crusaders' "liberation" of Jerusalem, Saladin did not touch one Christian in the city, thereby turning aside their fear that they would all be massacred. He merely ordered all Latin (Catholic) Christians to leave Jerusalem. The Orthodox Christians, who were not Crusaders, were allowed to stay and worship as they chose.

Saladin and his army treated the Christians with great mercy and justice, and showed them more compassion than their own leaders had.

Crusader savagery and Muslim justice once more revealed a historic truth: An administration built upon the principles of Islam allowed people of different faiths to live together. This fact continued to be demonstrated for 800 years after Saladin, particularly during the Ottoman period.

In 1514, Sultan Selim captured Jerusalem and the surrounding area, and some 400 years of Ottoman rule in Palestine began. As in other Ottoman states, this period would enable Palestine to enjoy peace and stability despite the fact that adherents of three different faiths were living alongside each other.

The Ottoman Empire was administered by the "nation (millet) system," the fundamental feature of which was that people of different faiths were allowed to live according to their own beliefs and legal systems. Christians and Jews, which the Qur'an calls the People of the Book, found tolerance, security, and freedom in Ottoman lands.

The history of Islam, which reflects the morality that God teaches Muslims in the Qur'an, is full of just, merciful, humble, and mature rulers. Since Muslim rulers fear God, they cannot behave in a corrupt, proud, or cruel manner. Of course there were Muslim rulers who became corrupt and departed from Islamic morality, but they were exceptions to and deviations from the norm. Thus Islam proved to be the only belief system that has produced a just, tolerant, and compassionate form of government for the last 1,400 years.

The land of Palestine is a testament to Islam's fair and tolerant governance, and bears the influence of many different faiths and ideas. As reported earlier, the governments of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, Umar, Saladin, and the Ottoman sultans were such that even non-Muslims consented to them. This period of fair administration lasted until the twentieth century when, with the end of Muslim rule in 1917, the region was plunged into chaos, terror, bloodshed, and war.

Indeed, Palestine never witnessed another "humane" administration once Ottoman rule ended. Between the two world wars, the British crushed the Arabs with their divide-and-conquer strategy and simultaneously empowered the Zionists, who would later prove antagonistic even to them. Zionism incurred the Arabs' wrath, and, from the 1930s on, Palestine became the scene of clashes between the two groups. Zionists formed terrorist groups to fight the Palestinians, and, shortly thereafter, began attacking the British as well. Once Britain threw up its hands and abandoned its mandate over the region in 1947, the clashes turned into war and the Israeli occupation and massacres (which continue to this day) began in earnest.

In order for the region to enjoy "humane" rule once again, Jews must abandon Zionism and its goal of a "Palestine exclusively for the Jews," and accept the idea of sharing the land with Arabs on equal terms. Arabs, for that matter, must abandon such un-Islamic goals as "driving Israel into the sea" or "putting all Jews to the sword," and accept the idea of living together with them. According to Said, this means reviving the Ottoman system, which is the only solution that will allow the region's people to live in peace and harmony. This system may create an environment of regional peace and security, just as it did in the past.

"

Read the book in the link and you'll see it the same way I do now. There's no reason for Jews to hate Muslims or vice versa. We've been friendly for 1,400 years in Palestine, today's "no man's land". The racist ideology of Zionism must be stopped.

Freewrite

I'm back again. Don't know what to write about, well actually I do... just don't know if I should. It's about my feelings on drinking. I might as well write about it. I guess no one reads this but me so who cares? My idea obviously isn't what other people think about it, but neither was Copernicus' ideas, or Einstein's, or anyone else who's ideas conflicted with common belief. But of course, they're praised today as heroes. Even though when they were alive people treated them like trash and made fun of them. Funny, right? All of those kids who you may think are freaks, weird, or different could be like that. That's how I feel about my stance on alcohol, it's different. Though nothing radical, the Qu'ran talks about it so I just stand behind it. Kids today don't care about religion as much, basically because liberals claim that it's illogical and a lot of people actually are believing that because they have no idea what to believe in. You're taught in middle school and your whole life that drinking is bad, continuously. That's basically why I've stayed away from it. The only reason I ever tried it is because others did it, so since they do it I had an unwritten obligation to. Nothing special, I don't understand why people like the taste of hot, nasty tasting, trash. You don't have to do it to fit in with others, you really don't. I don't know where I'm going with this... I guess I'll just say it's bad, don't do it. The thing is most people have heard that phrase more than enough, why doesn't it click? Well, people have the right to choose what they want to do with themselves or put in their body. Whatever, this was retarded. I'll just think of something else.
Moving on to the election and things, i've been reading and watching a lot of this stuff from Libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik. He seems to make the absolute most sense out of any candidate. He's studied the Constitution for 18 years and learned so damn much. I like his idea's because they follow the Constitution and are parallel to it. He wants to do things like:
End Gun Control. Stop the War on Drugs(which is amazing, if you've read my idea about Tupac and the cycle of poverty you should understand why I approve.) End the relationship of marriage and government so the individual can choose who he/she wants to marry with heart and soul instead of government(even if this includes Gay marriage which I oppose because it's a sin. I still feel because of this government and its laws, those people can choose to do it if they want because it's their right to. People just need to understand that Homosexuality is something Humans can choose to become. It's not a genetic thing, just a case of morality. People need to understand that first in like a health class before or when they're teenagers because the suicide rates of this issue is too high then they can choose whatever they want to make themselves happy) He wants to end the Public education system of America because apparently it's retarded. He thinks that private tutoring like home schooling is more effective, and when you think about it, it's right. When parents are in charge of the education of their children, the kids learn, "Sylvan Learning Centers, an after-school tutoring service, guarantees that students will advance one grade in their chosen subject with only 36 hours of instruction. In other words, Sylvan students will learn in 2 months what they would take 10 months to learn in the average school! At the Sylvan learning rate, children would receive 12 years of education with 2.5 years of study." Interesting, that obviously leaves 9.5 years of learning advanced things that students in college know in a lot less time, therefore having a Much smarter youth. Thinking about that, I really like the idea myself. I'd love to learn that much in that time period. Why not give it a try?

That's it for now...

This feeling.

I don't know what to say. Well, it's only been 8 days since the last update.Though I am updating today for a different reason. I feel totally different now. Elated, alive, in love. I never thought that would come out of my mouth anytime soon. I really wouldn't be surprised if I was single my whole life, seriously. I've always thought that I would be a good "other", but doubted I would get the chance. Now, it's hard to breathe. My mind's been conquered and new thoughts have been running throughout it all day. "You really are my ecstasy."

It's so weird. I've never felt this way before. I can only hope she does too. I might as well start from the beginning. That would be yesterday. Semso and I went to the mall to get his girlfriend something nice. So we went to Godiva, some shop for chocolates. I saw this teddy bear with chocolates and all I see was her eyes. I wondered if I should buy it, since Valentine's day is coming up and everything. So we did, me and Semso got the same bears. Later that night we went to Semso's girlfriends house to play B.S., the game Suad owns at. It was 10:30 and she had to leave I was nervous and everything about the gift. Semso said that I should go, I was so nervous and wow you've got no idea. I went to his car picked the bear up and when they were leaving the driveway I stopped them to give it to her. Damn, I was so nervous I said something like, "Yeah, so ok, so yeah, well um here." Instead of something that you'd see in the movies like, "Yo whats up, I wanted you to know that." and you know, show it then. She smiled, something I won't be forgetting that ever, then got up and hugged me. I was glad to see her so happy. She came in I thought it would be another hug, but it wasn't. I had no idea it was coming, and it was my first. When she left I stood there for a minute and was like, what just happenned? Every detail I've recalled so far my heart's been pumping faster, writing this, wow how weird. I went inside and sat there not knowing what to think or do while Semso was teasing me like he always does. Well, yeah then we went to Dunkin Donuts for food and hot chocolate and that was the rest of the night. I stayed up for a real long time, still in shock.

Of course, I still am shocked and probably will be for a while. Semso said that she actually slept with the bear. So now, I'm here writing. This WHOLE day has been thinking about it and having trouble breathing. If this is how it really feels, I like it. No, I love it. No one's ever talked about like this. Here's one of Tupac's poems about his girlfriend:

There R no words 2 express
how much I truely care
so many times I fantisize of
feelings we can share
My heart has never known
the Joy u bring 2 me
As if GOD knew what I wanted
and made u a reality
I'd die 2 hold u or 2 kiss u
or merely to see your face
my stomach quivers my body shivers
and my heart increases pace
2 give me $ or lots of gold
would not be the same 2 me
I prayed and watched the distant stars
and finally u came 2 me!

And he captures my emotions as well. I will always remember that Saturday. February 12, 2005. I hope whatever develops soon is, good. What a different, lively feeling it is. That moment is in my mind, forever. Well, that was my sappy love story, and I actually loved writing it. These are my personal thoughts, I don't think anyone visits this website anymore except me so I'm free here. The magic, the night, my life is, more than all right.

More music.

The song: Hate it or love it
The artist: Game ft. 50 cent
The album: The documentary

What's not to like about this song? I like the beat 50 cent has built into it:

[50 Cent]
Ya, let's take em back
Uh huh

Comin up I was confused my momma kissin a girl
Confusion occurs comin up in the cold world
Daddy ain't around probably out commitin felonies
My favorite rapper used to sing ch-check out my melody
I wanna live good, so should I sell dope for a fo-finger ring
Money and them gold ropes
Santa told me if I pass could get a sheep skin coat
If I can move a few packs and get the hat, now that'd be dope
Tossed and turned in my sleep at night
Woke up the next morning niggas done stole my bike
Different day same shit, ain't nothing good in the hood
I'd run away from this bitch and never come back if I could

[Chorus (50 then Game):]
Hate it or love it the underdog's on top
And I'm gonna shine homie until my heart stop

Go head' envy me
I'm raps MVP
And I ain't goin nowhere so you can get to know me

Hate it or love it the underdog's on top
And I'm gonna shine homie until my heart stop

Go head' envy me
I'm raps MVP
And I ain't goin nowhere so you can get to know me

[Game]
On the grill of my lowrider
Guns on both sides right above the gold wires
I'll fo-five em
Kill a nigga on my song but really do it
Thats the true meaning of a ~ghostwriter~
10 g'z will take ya daughter out of Air Forces
Believe you me homie i know all bout losses
I'm from Compton where the wrong colors be cautious
One phone call will have ya body dumped in Marcy
I stay strapped like car seats
Been bangin since my lil nigga Rob got killed for his Barkley's
That's 10 years I told Pooh in 95' I'd kill you if you try me for my Air Max 95s
Told Banks when i met him imma ride
And if I gotta die rather homicide
I ain't have 50 Cent when my Grandmomma died
Now i'm goin back to Cali with my Jacob on
See how time fly?

[Chorus - 50 Cent]

From the beginnin to the end
Losers lose, winners win
This is real we ain't got to pretend
The cold world that we in
Is full of pressure and pain
Enough of me nigga now listen to Game

[Game]
Used to see 5-0 throw the crack by the bench
Now i'm fuckin with ~5-0~ it's all startin to make ~sense~
My moms happy she ain't gotta pay the rent
And she got a red bow on that brand new Benz
Waitin on Sha Money to land sittin in the Range
Thinkin how they spend 30 million dollars on airplanes
When there's kids starvin
Pac is gone and Brendas still throwin babies in the garbage
I wanna know what's goin on like i hear Marvin
No school books they use that wood to build coffins
Whenever I'm in the booth and i get exhausted
I think what if Marie Banker got that abortion
I love ya Ma'

[Chorus X2]

The song overall is very catchy and great. I like the last verse the most because it has the most meaning to me, "Pac is gone and Brendas still throwin babies in the garbage". If you haven't heard the song "Brenda's got a baby" you probably should. Pac wrote about a 12 year old girl thats pregnant, throws her baby into the garbage, then ruins her life with prostitution to pay her bills. Basically, the cycle some girls have in the ghetto. If you want to read the lyrics here, http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/2pac/brendasgotababy.html , there's a lot of meaning in that. The whole scenario, it's so sad and unreal. What sucks is, it's real for some. To think, kids LESS than my age, having children. Tough thoughts. Tough life. But it's all a game, I wish these people only knew...

The life of this world is nothing but a game and a diversion. The abode of the Hereafter-that is truly life if they only knew. (Qur'an, 29:64)

Good night.

Abortion

I read something on UrbanDictionary rather interesting about abortion:

"Abortion An issue that republicans and democrats are both very contradictory about. pro-life republicans say abortion is murder, however they support the death penalty. and pro-choice democrats advocate human rights yet they support murder."

As soon as I read that I was in awe. It's rather true. I'm a proud republican and after reading that is really interesting to think about. I don't really know about the death penalty. I personally think, life without parole and having a cell with a big black guy is a better alternative.
I was watching News 12 which convinced me of that.

This preacher's daughter was murdered by Michael Ross and said that he'd rather have Mike in jail for life. The reason? He feels if Mike was to be executed he would feel worse and still have that misery, in fact, even more than he would have when Mike would be alive. For him, knowing that Michael would be in jail for life would make the mental stress from his loss away. I went the extra mile and had to include the black cell-mate-you know why. I'm sure after that, Michael's life will be a living hell and would be sincerely sorry.

That's basically why I've chosen life without parole is a better decision than execution. Along with the fact that it's cheaper as well. So, the part about republicans being pro-life but supporting the death penalty is off of my shoulders. I think it's the right choice. While, the democrats still have a hypocritical part of them that's to be discussed.

Pro-Choice and supporting human rights. That's the first time I've read that and wondered, hmm. Of course, they bring up some retarded scenario to support their stance like,

"there are people who contradict themselves by saying that abortion is ok in cases of rape and incest but not ok other circumstances. this is to say that the life of a child has a pricetag, and that the importance of him having a life is outweighed in a scenario of a rape."

The way it's written says it all. The author, "educatedmoderate", shows his stance passively.
When you think about it, even in that scenario you shouldn't kill your child. Put it up for adoption if you really don't want it. There's no reason the child shouldn't be given God's gift of life. What did the baby do? Nothing. Still, people want to kill him because of the way he/she was made.

Thank you educatedmoderate for the definition and for the chance given to me to reflect on the issue.

Competition is good

As if you already haven't heard the term before. It is true. There is no other time that a human excels more than normal is with a little rivalry. I've got many of my own examples, the majority comes from working out. I would try doing pushups and B.S. myself and act like I couldn't do it. As soon as another kid was next to me, there I went. I don't know how many was done exactly, all I remember is I concentrated well beyond human levels and tapped out the feelings of pain. If he did a pushup, I was right behind him doing another. As soon as he felt stress I felt more power I looked at him devilishly like it was no sweat. When he stopped doing it I made some weird noise, like a grunt from an ogre. That ended up being my workout sound because one, it sounds really beasty and two, its intimidating. People think I'm insane and I feel no pain. I go along with those thoughts and start punching myself like a maniac not hard enough to hurt but enough to scare them. Fortunately for them, they just chicken out. It's fortunate because it saves them a good beating. I like fighting, not because of its violence, but because I like portraying myself as something I'm not. Like Rocky, everyone says my face looks like his so I go and pretend I'm him. The human imagination is really amazing, I mean anything we're see or hear is amazing as well. The intricate patterns of spiderwebs, honeycombs by bees, beavers building their damns, the complex structures that allow fish to breathe underwater. It all has a creator, a great All-knowing being. I don't mind if you don't believe in it as well, do what you want. I'm going to sleep. I will write about the other topics later.

Hot topics.

Alright, I've pulled out this sheet of paper from my history notebook. The one with the writing topics on it. I'll begin to list and write when ever I'm free:

Competition is good
Zionism. The views of other authors about it. Orthodox jews, Harun Yahya(Muslims).
Gas prices. An example other people probably haven't realized.
The importance of reading, studying, and habits.
How to develop a genius child. Disadvantages, etc.
Do some random poetry-I don't know how well that will turn out.

Nothing special

It's 12:16. Nothing much to say except I've made a list of topics that I can write about on this site. I'll try getting around to that tomorrow after I figure out how to stop playing Counter-Strike: Source. They're good topics too, let me assure you that.

Sooner or later everything should workout just fine.
