Abortion

I read something on UrbanDictionary rather interesting about abortion:

"Abortion An issue that republicans and democrats are both very contradictory about. pro-life republicans say abortion is murder, however they support the death penalty. and pro-choice democrats advocate human rights yet they support murder."

As soon as I read that I was in awe. It's rather true. I'm a proud republican and after reading that is really interesting to think about. I don't really know about the death penalty. I personally think, life without parole and having a cell with a big black guy is a better alternative.
I was watching News 12 which convinced me of that.

This preacher's daughter was murdered by Michael Ross and said that he'd rather have Mike in jail for life. The reason? He feels if Mike was to be executed he would feel worse and still have that misery, in fact, even more than he would have when Mike would be alive. For him, knowing that Michael would be in jail for life would make the mental stress from his loss away. I went the extra mile and had to include the black cell-mate-you know why. I'm sure after that, Michael's life will be a living hell and would be sincerely sorry.

That's basically why I've chosen life without parole is a better decision than execution. Along with the fact that it's cheaper as well. So, the part about republicans being pro-life but supporting the death penalty is off of my shoulders. I think it's the right choice. While, the democrats still have a hypocritical part of them that's to be discussed.

Pro-Choice and supporting human rights. That's the first time I've read that and wondered, hmm. Of course, they bring up some retarded scenario to support their stance like,

"there are people who contradict themselves by saying that abortion is ok in cases of rape and incest but not ok other circumstances. this is to say that the life of a child has a pricetag, and that the importance of him having a life is outweighed in a scenario of a rape."

The way it's written says it all. The author, "educatedmoderate", shows his stance passively.
When you think about it, even in that scenario you shouldn't kill your child. Put it up for adoption if you really don't want it. There's no reason the child shouldn't be given God's gift of life. What did the baby do? Nothing. Still, people want to kill him because of the way he/she was made.

Thank you educatedmoderate for the definition and for the chance given to me to reflect on the issue.
